Access Urgent Support

When you arrive at the hospital, with your consent, a specially trained nurse and social worker team will be called in. They will arrive within 45 minutes and meet you in the emergency room. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will spend time with you in a private space to help you cope with what has happened and to provide you with all of your care options.

We will support you around making these very difficult choices. We also offer safety planning for yourself and family if you choose. You will have the option of follow-up services and counselling with the social worker who can continue to support you moving forward. You are in control and make the choices around what options you would like to access. It is your choice whether you want to involve police.
